We also are responsible for ensuring that our void properties are turned around quickly in order to ensure minimum void loss. Our Maintenance Officers carry out pre and post inspections to ensure that we are achieving value for money on our services and that repairs are carried out to a high quality standard.
We have a range of planned and cyclical programmes in place with components that are replaced at the end of their life expectancy such as boilers, kitchens and bathrooms.
We ensure that tenant and resident safety is paramount to us by carrying out annual gas safety inspections in all our tenanted properties and supported accommodation. Our 30 year life cycle programme includes for example electrical inspections, smoke and heat detection replacements.
We have a robust procedure in place to deal with damp and mould found in our tenants' properties.
We have service contracts in place for example asbestos, legionella and lift inspections.
We also offer a factoring service to owners in our common closes that we factor and to our landscaping owners in relation to open space maintenance.
