Due to a trial job share position becoming permanent, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing team, for a permanent Housing Assistant to help us continue to meet our service and performance objectives.

Housing Assistant

Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

EVH Grade 6 PA17: £29,946 to PA20: £32,737

The Housing Assistant will provide an effective, efficient and responsive Housing Management Service to the Association’s customers, including existing tenants, former tenants, potential tenants and owner occupiers.

Key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, Rent Accounting and Arrears Recovery, Allocations and Housing List Administration, Estate Management, Tenant Participation, Service Delivery and Customer Satisfaction, Factoring and Shared Ownership. Assistance with policy and procedure reviews, complaint handling and general upkeep of house files and computerised tenancy records.

Candidates will have previous experience in a similar role. Will have excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and organisational skills. They will have proficient computer literacy skills. Experience using SDM Housing software is desirable. A current driving licence and access to a car is essential for this post.
