Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
EVH GRADE TAS4: £29,124 - £30,250 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen, to be part of our in-house landscape and grounds maintenance team. We are recruiting for an experienced Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. This role will first and foremost be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the Association’s customers day-to-day, including existing tenants, potential tenants, and owner occupiers, under the direction of the Project Co-ordinator, as well as supervising the operations of our in-house landscaping team.
Key responsibilities include but will not be limited to, undertaking the full range of soft landscaping and grounds maintenance duties (hard landscaping tasks as required), working closely with the Project-Coordinator in organising, planning and delivery of the programme of works, supervising landscaping staff day-to-day, assisting with team meetings, ensuring H&S policies and procedures are followed and assisting with customer queries and complaints.
Candidates must have strong practical experience in various soft landscaping tasks with hard landscaping experience desirable. Previous experience supervising staff is essential. The right candidate for this role will have good all-round communication skills, IT skills, an organised and proactive approach to work and be focused on the delivery of excellent customer service. Candidates should have a full clean driving licence and access to their own car (when use of own car is required, mileage will be paid in line with HMRC rates).
