Sean Connor
Chief Executive Officer

Sean Connor CEO

Sean Connor became Chief Executive of Oak Tree Housing Association in October 2024, bringing more than 25 years’ experience leading housing, charity, and community organisations.

Sean is passionate about providing great homes and excellent services for Oak Tree’s tenants and customers. He is focused on making the Association financially secure for the future, making better use of digital technology, and strengthening links with partners across Inverclyde.

Alongside his role at Oak Tree, Sean is a Board Director of Glasgow Credit Union and is actively involved in community-based organisations. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Above all, Sean is committed to ensuring Oak Tree continues to put people and communities at the heart of everything it does.

Suk Hopper
Director of Property (Deputises for CEO)

Suk Hopper

Suk is Oak Tree Housing Association’s Director of Property and deputises for the Chief Executive Officer.

Suk leads the Property team with responsibility for the reactive repairs service, planned and cyclical maintenance, voids, investment programmes, net zero, asset management, factoring, and the Association’s in-house landscaping service. A key part of Suk’s role is ensuring compliance with tenant and resident safety, safeguarding people and protecting the Association’s housing stock. Suk also supports the Chief Executive Officer with the Association’s development programmes.

Suk began her housing career in 2001 and has held senior property roles across Glasgow before joining Oak Tree in 2016. Suk holds a First Class Honours Degree in Building Surveying, a Level 5 Diploma in Housing Studies and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Kes Cameron
Director of Finance

Kes Cameron

Kes joined Oak Tree Housing Association in August 2019 as Finance Manager and was promoted to Finance Director, and a member of the Management Team, in February 2022.

Kes leads the Finance and IT teams and is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy of the organisation, ensuring long term financial stability.

Kes is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) in 2012. She has specialised in working for charitable organisations since 2012 and took on her first senior management role in 2015.

Julie McEwan
Director of Housing

Julie McEwan

With 35 years of experience in the housing sector, Julie is the Director of Housing leading the delivery of affordable, high-quality housing across the organisation. Julie holds a Diploma in Housing and an HNC in Accounting.

Julie is responsible for managing the full range of housing management and tenancy sustainment activities including allocations, rent account management, void management and tenant participation.

Julie works closely with local authorities, residents, and stakeholders to ensure the Association's initiatives align with the needs of the community.
